UPDATED: NOV 11, 2016 Bottle - the pour is cloudy and dirty yellow in color with a thin head. The aroma is smokey, sour and oak. The taste is initially syrah wine the quickly followed by smoke and oak. The hops provide a nice bitter balance to the beer. The finish is smoke, grass and heavy oak. The finish is not the most pleasant part of the beer.

500 ml bottle poured a clear yellow with a small lingering white head. Aromas of straw, vinous notes, oak and light fruitiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of straw, oak and light vinous notes with a crisp lingering oak finish.

Clear brilliant golden with its own inner light, under a thin Rocky white cap. Bready toasty lagerish aroma with a kiss of white oak. Crisp and beautiful flavor with crisp golden Pilsner malt, a touch of oak and white wine, and a very balanced grassy undertone that cuts the wine barrel notes.
