Cherry and holiday spiced aroma (nutmeg, clove cinnamon, clove) and belgian yeast. Deep copper in color. Tastes exactly as it smells, same cherry and spice. I dont recall it being much of a lambic, but a crazy-good winter warmer.
Pint bottle. Hazy Amber color with an off white head. Spice caramel malt aroma. Lot of spice flavor upfront with a mild malt finish. Heavy body. Not balance but much complexity.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours almost almost clear copper with a fizzy off white head. Tastes like booze, sweet gingerbread cookie, fresh ginger, and some cinnamon. Head is initially small, frothy, off-white to light brown, mostly diminishing.
Body is medium amber.
Aroma is lightly malty (cookie, toasted grain), with a strong note of ginger, other notes of lime, mint, candy sugar.
Flavor is heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Medium to full body, syrupy/watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly to moderately alcoholic.

Pour a dark copper color with dark golden orange edges and a one finger off white head that slowly fades into lasting ring. Sopradic spots of lace.
Sweet malty aroma with subtle medicinal quality and a prominent spice character. Zesty pepper, clove, cinnamon brown sugar and pumpkin. Sweet rye caramel and biscuit.
Fuller bodied than expected with a nice balance of sweet malt notes and zesty wintertime spice. Hints of rye, molasses, honey caramel, toffee and biscuit with hints of pepper, clove, nutmeg vanilla, cinnamon and brown sugar. Abv excellently masked with litte to no heat, just some warmth in the finish. The best of the three beers I had from this place.

tap at B&B. I decided a new entry for bull & bush yule fuel needed to be created, as in the yule fuel lambic half are reviews of their lambic, the previous version, and half are of this beer, which is NOT a lambic, but labeled as a winter warmer by the brewery. Since no winter warmer beer category exists here, I thought it was best classified as an english strong ale, although you could make an argument for spice/herb/vegetable as there is definitely plenty of nutmeg / cinnimon in this one. Anyway..........pours a deep red hue with small off white head. Aroma is spicy and sweet, some marachino cherry, nutmeg, cinnamon. Smooth and medium bodied, incredibly smooth for 10%. this is a god holiday beer. Lots of honey and spice in the aroma, flavor is similar.. Lots of cloves, touch of nutmeg. A tasty beer. I don’t detect any lambic character though. On tap at The Bull and Bush Pub in Denver. Pours out a clear ruby mahogany like color, with a small head that dissipates after you take about 3 sips. Smells amazing, with many notes of fruits like apple, pear, lots of orange rind, and loads of sweet caramel malt, with a hint of wood. Enticing. Taste is just as lovely. Lots of light fruits like in the nose, but with a more pronounced wood note, a load of zesty citrus hops, a ton of toffee or caramel, and more than a bit of booze. The booze isn’t too apparent at first, but by the finish it’s a nice warming sensation. Gotta be about 10%. Very lovely all around. Even the texture felt refined. Tasted from a growler at the Parade of Darks in Denver, Colorado. Translucent orange appearance with a slightly darker head. Piney, sweet sour aroma. Spicy, piney, sour flavor with a decent amount of ginger. Fairly alcoholic finish but still spicy and sweet. Not a whole lot of lambic going going on. Talked to the guy working for the brewery and said this years version is NOT a lambic.
