Draft at Fullsteam. Pours a amber-gold with a small white head. Nose of rye, easygoing hops, some interesting yeast (maybe Triangle’s contribution?), some light ginger and basil/rosemary notes. Taste shows a bit more of the latter. I like the herbal notes. An interesting and refreshing collaboration.
Tap at BCBB. Orange golden with small white head, little lace. Nose is spicey, ginger, light rye, light fruits. Flavor is similar, more spice, coriander, rosemary, ginger. emacgee (4676) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - APR 8, 2013
Pours soft pale golden amber with a tight sandstone tan head. Nose is lightly sweet (in a good way) and herbal with a touch of citrus and rosemary. Rosemary comes through at the front of the mouth with a very light perceptual sweetness. Light acidity on the finish and a touch of earthy bread. Light medium body with a round palate and dry finish. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - APR 7, 2013
Draught. Pours a clear amber color with a moderate white head. Nose is quite spicy from the rosemary, as it really dominates both the taste and smell. Taste is a little sweet, and reminds me a little bit of Christmas, actually. Not a huge fan of it.
