3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On draught at the Bull Falls brewery tap room in Wausau, Wisconsin. Pours a hazy semi-dark amber colored brew with a creamy off-white head that has some nice retention and lacing. A little lighter in color compared to most other dunkelweizens but still darker than Bull Falls regular Hefeweizen. Aroma of hefe yeast, a hint of toffee, banana esters and some vanilla. Taste is medium bodied, with flavors of multi-grain malt, banana esters, a hint of clove, yeast, and a very faint presence of chocolate. Finish is semi-sweet with a roasted multi-grain malt, banana and vanilla aftertaste.
