Keg @ Bull Falls. Hazy gold with a small head. Big banana and clove on the nose. Plays it straight. Quite sweet flavor. Banana bread with light citrus on the finish. Pillowy mouthfeel. Light. OK example of a style I don’t enjoy. deyholla (11900) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 28, 2017
Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy earthy yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges slowly. Aroma has a strong clove note supported by sweet wheat and flora notes. Flavor has sweet wheat and clove notes with flora supporting. muzzlehatch (4969) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 27, 2016
16 ounce can from a grocery store probably not worth noting here on Ratebeer, here in Wausau WI. Pours a moderate-medium-sized head, lasts for a bit, topping a hazy golden body...on the nose, very typical hefe aroma, banana-clove, yadda-yadda, but also a bit if vanilla and I have to say all well blended and fairly deep and strong...a bit tarter than the average example, perhaps, plenty of wheat-sourdough character, quite soft mouthfeel, long lightly sour finish but also a more than adequate bit of fruity sweetness...I can’t say this really stands out, but it’s a more than credible example of the style without any flaws, and very enjoyable. drpimento (3714) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 16, 2016
Poured with a nice sized foamy head, but that quickly settled leaving no sign or lace. Aroma is soap and traditional Bavarian Hefe. Flavor’s the best part here and it has some of that traditional Bavarian Hefe qualities, but is missing some need carbonic tang as the carbonation is a bit soft. Not a bad beer. seuinoz (260) - Glen Ellyn, Illinois, USA - JAN 28, 2016
UPDATED: MAR 26, 2016 No hints of smoke, vanilla or clove like flavors?? I got alot of wheat and lemon off of this beer. Color is hazy yellow with a fastly dissipating head. Little to no lacing on the glass. A great summer thirst quencher. But can be a winter beer too.

Hazy amber. Floral. Light banana, but balanced more to pear and sweet apple with some mild sulfur. Flavor is lemony pear and apple with very light spice and a mildly salty wheat finish. A worthwhile hefe. AWISLguy (3224) - Wisconsin, USA - OCT 2, 2015
16oz can from BrookFalls Discount. An orangey copper pour with a bit of a white head. Cloves, fruits, some basement. Taste adds sweet bananas. Not as light as expected, and a bit rough. What is the thought process again for deliberately buying a hefe? 12.8 weihenweizen (3982) - Charleston Area, West Virginia, USA - AUG 7, 2015
Refrigerated 16 oz. aluminum can, from shrubber85, poured into a weizen glass. Aroma is clove, medium body, loe carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is clove, some bread, and vanilla finish. jzimmerman21 (3) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 22, 2015 does not count
