COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bulldog is an award winning strong ale that was first brewed for the export market in 1947. The traditional recipe and maturing process of "warm conditioning" which takes place after fermentation, has been deliberately retained to preserve the strength and quality. The beer is dry hopped and the distinctive mellow flavour of Bulldog Strong Ale allowed to develop slowly.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours reddish clear with a thin frothy head. Aroma is bread and grain. Taste is well balanced between bitterness and sweetness. Caramel is clearly perceivable. Body is light to medium with medium carbonation. A little bitter in the aftertaste.

Caramel and red fruits, golden/orange with a good white head, light/medium body, medium carbonation, taste of caramel...not exceptional.

Kolor miodowy, klarowny. Piana bia?a, wysoka i trwa?a, dobrze oblepia szk?o. W aromacie s?odowo??, karmel i cukier, do?? s?odko. Smak: karmel, akcenty s?odowe i chmielowe, raczej bez fajerwerków. Goryczka niska, prawie niezauwa?alna. Wysycenie ?rednie w kierunku do niskiego.

UPDATED: AUG 19, 2016 Aroma e gusto complessi e intensi, principalmente caramello e malto.

Draught in Rome. Clear dark amber brown with a medium slightly off-white soapy head. Medium body with low to moderate carbonation. Medium sweetness with nice subtle bitter tones. Caramel, malts, hops and some spices.

Pours a clea ramber color, topped with a medium sized white head. Malty aroma, with some mild presence of fruity notes. Taste is sweet and malty, medum bitterness and some presence of alcohol. Not a bad one, but not that good either.

lmastr (59) - Norma, ITALY - MAR 18, 2015
Tap. Appears a light red with a small head. Tastes a bit flowerish, a bit herbal with a nice hoppy finish, due to the dry hopping.
