Draft at Standard. Pours a hazy, slight head that fades quickly to nothing. Light tart, apricots, and strong butterscotch Diacetyl flavor . Drain pour. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 14, 2013
Tap. Pours a clear and bright light copper body with a minimal head that completely vanished. The nose is funky and bretty with some sourness, juicy apricot, and a bit of that sweaty feet like notes from the wild yeast. Amazing refreshing aroma. The flavor is really balanced between the musty cellar funkiness and the apricot fruit. More wild and funky up front, then juicy fruit, then fades to a cereal grain and lightly sour finish. Excellent in it’s changing flavors over the course of the glass. Very light, thin, very dry, but not heavy on the acidity, they really struck the balance perfect on this one. Great beer. Pours a medium clear orange with a small white head. Aroma is apricot and earthy, lots of apricot. Taste is much less tart then anticipated with a touch of sweetness. Light bodied with a smooth and slick texture.
