Draft at the brewpub. Muddy amber color. Huge head; the bartender poured it in a pitcher to save time drawing it out. Ultra fresh apricots, citrus (lemons) and floral hops. Wheat tartness. Hops weren’t as pronounced as I’d hoped.(the name on the blackboard was Aprihop) But A good fresh fruit beer. fredandboboflo (1570) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 31, 2008
Tap. Aroma of luscious apricot jam, both tart and sweet. Flavor weaker, just a standard wheaty apricot character, reduced tartness. Felt a bit watery at first, but body then seemed fine, just sometimes lacking in the flavor department. Still, pretty good, especially with that aroma. Draft at the brewpub, clear gold with a small head. Underwhelming aroma and flavor, but pretty crisp and enjoyable. Nice apricot flavor. Very natural and fresh, subtle and good. Thin feel though. A good refreshing beer that would be best in the summer months. yobdoog (1888) - Kingston, New York, USA - APR 10, 2009
Nice looking beer. Aroma of peach skin and apricot. Taste is sweet and dry with peach and apricot. Semi tart with some mellow spice. beastiefan2k (3979) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - JUN 11, 2009
I was a bit impressed by this beer so I decided to rate it out of the sampler at the brewpub. Usually fruit wheat beers suck a lot but this was rather well done, at least the aroma, which was all natural fuzzy apricot skins. If you could smell fuzzy fruit this would be it. Doesn’t smell artificial or cheap. But with the flavor there is only so much one could do and it comes off as an overly clean and uninteresting wheat beer with some fruit ascents. Its pretty to look at as well, a thick wall of glowing golden that one cannot see through.

5oz sample from a flight. Pour is a bright gold with a finger of fluffy white head that went the distance. Nose is apricots, malt, and light hops; the apricot is the dominant presence in this one. Taste is the same, but the apricot and malt take pole position in sweet, fruity masquerade. The finish is more of the same, but it is well met by subtle hops to create balance. This is easy to drink, and quite sessionable, but not something I would go out of my way to find. LilBeerDoctor (3930) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 27, 2008
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear light yellow with a small white head. Aroma of apricot (jam-like), very jammy. Flavor of more apricot with a weak, watery palate. Ok, but I’d like a better backbone. Naka (719) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 1, 2009
Sampled on tap. Pours a dark hazy amber orange color. Foamy off-white head. Aroma is brown sugar, apricot, and mango. Not a strong wheat character, but has a lot of good apricot / fruit notes. Not too sweet, which is nice. Very well balanced for the style. Good rich body, but still somewhat refreshing. Beerapprentice (208) - Doylestown, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 7, 2009
Pours a cloudy, dark honey coloured orange with a thin white head. Aroma of sweet apricots, honey, wheat and citrus hop flavours. Taste is much the same as the aroma. zdk (1917) - New York, New York, USA - AUG 2, 2010
tap @ bullfrog - hazy orange pour, initial tasty fruitiness, but with an unpleasant edge. Caramel and soda pop fizzle. Smooth medium body, tasty citrus and honey, dried fruit and lemon. Enjoyed the finish more than the front.
