COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Koelsch style all malt beer. This lightly colored ale has a delicate floral aroma and flavor reminiscent of Williamsport’s first breweries. This beer is clean and crisp with just a touch of lingering sweetness leading to a dry balanced finish.

On tap at the brewery. Very mild aroma with not too much in the way of hops or malt. Very clean, though. Pale yellow clear with thin lacing head. Light body with medium-light carbonation. Starts beany with light sweetness and good crisp hops. A bit watery overall but it a nice blond/koelsch - almost bordering on a light lager. Crisp clean finish with dry bitter after.

Tap from source. Yellow with almost no head or lacing. Smells faintly of sour honey and wheat. Light wheat and sweet flavor. Not watery like many kolsch’s.

New England Bucket List Trip #204. Keg at the brewpub. Pours a clear pale golden with a thin frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of pale biscuit malt, floral notes, dandelion, honey. The taste is dandelion, floral notes, pale doughy malt. Medium bodied.

Pours clear gold with a small white head. Aroma is earthy, citrus and grass. Taste is tart with some sweetness. Light bodied, smooth and easy to drink. Good Kolsch.

This was a muddled kolsch. I expect that crisp mouth feel and better hop aroma. Just wasn’t there. A bit of disappointment.

[4661-20120817] Tap. Mild lake water yeast aroma. Clear, yellow brown body with a quick foamy white head. Bitter grainy yeast flavour has a nice citrus base. Medium body. Quite tasty, simple but drinkable. (7/3/7+/3/14) 3.4

Nice light malts in the aroma, some spicy hops, clean. Slightly hazy straw colored pour, white head with average retention, little lacing. Light grain flavor, pils malts and noble hop notes. Low bitterness, a hint of sweetness. Light body, medium carbonation.

2012-08-17. Crisp yellow body with a tiny white head. Flavour is quite fruity with moderate bitterness, mild grassy hop character. 6+ Lightly grainy cereal aroma, pale malt and muted grassy hops. Average plus bodied palate. Just okay but much better than expected, a bit bland but pretty quaffable. On tap at Bullfrog, Williamsport

Draft. Light golden pour with white head. Very boring malt aroma. Flavor is forgettable with corn, vegetal tones and malt tones.

No head, piss yellow ah yes a kolsch. Missing the real crispness I come to look for in a kolsch, just real watery.
