On tap, pours a clear reddish purplish with little head. Not much in the nose, taste is tart, lightly fruity, but hard pressed to find the blackberries. Bitter finish, almost earthy. Light and easy drinking, but not my favorite.

On tap at Bullfrog. Pours a murky light brown with a slight head and aromas that are completely boring. Maybe the first sniff had a bit of funk, but after first sip, it isn’t even worth trying to get a feel for the nose anymore. It all comes off as grainy dust. Flavor is another matter. It is a punchy brett beer with that grapefruit rind spunk and a bit of a muted berry presence in the background. It’s lovely... can8ianben (1601) - State College, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 2, 2015
Really interesting, just a bit sour and very blackberry forward. I like it a lot! This would be an amazing patio beer. Beerman6686 (6611) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 14, 2015
This poured a semi hazy orange color with an off white head. Aroma wana of mild.black Jerry, wheat and not much else really, flavor similar, a bit disappointing. kramer (6991) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 7, 2014
Growler. Pours a slightly hazy dark gold body with a tinge of color from the blackberries under a fizzy white head. The nose is pretty nice, rather light on the blackberry, but in balance with the light hay and wheat from the base Saison. Some light yeast influence. The flavor is delicate and airy with a light, but natural tasting, blackberry component. Some nice yeast and soft wheat, fairly dry despite the addition of the fruit. Light bodied with soft fizzy carbonation and a short fruity finish. Pretty decent fruit beer, the blackberry flavor is really nice and the sweetness is kept in check really well.

On tap at HOTB. Mild bitter berry nose, semisweet with some muskiness. Light golden amber clear with light haze. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Starts sweet with mild pale malt and wheat, nice berry flavor and a bit of bitterness. Smooth sweet fruity after. FROTHINGSLOSH (8291) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 11, 2013
UPDATED: JUL 22, 2013 They added brett to this batch and it worked well. +++ Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a murky pinkish color - like pink grapefruit juice - with a small foamy white head that left no lacing. The aroma was dry and bretty with a bit of yeastiness and some vague berry. The flavor was dry, bretty, musty and yeasty with notes of pepper and faint tart berries. Long dry brett, pepper and berry finish. Moderately full bodied. Interesting. jredmond (8839) - New York, New York, USA - MAY 6, 2013
Draft at Misconduct Tavern with Pj and Pat. Pours a light, hazy golden body with thin frothy white lacing. Aroma is wheat and muted berries. Mouthfeel is medium to light with notes of fruit, wheat, and a lager graininess. I wasn’t personally a big fan of this one. mabel (10004) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 29, 2012

On tap at Capone’s. Poured an amber color with a small sized head. This one was berries all the way around in the aromas and tastes. Definitely a fruit beer as berries where the dominate characteristic. Some what sweet with a very light berry tartness.
