FROTHINGSLOSH (7901) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 11, 2013
Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a nut brown color with a medium sized foamy beige head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was faint nut and toffee. The flavor was dryish, nutty and a bit woody with faint dark fruits. Medium length finish of nut, wood and dark fruits. Medium body. Ok. The rich maltiness and low ABV make this an easy drinking beer that would be good as a sessional. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 17, 2013
Tap. Pours a clear dark amber-brown body with a small fizzy large bubbled off-white head. The nose is slightly husky and grainy with some light leafy hops and toasted malt. The flavor is pretty nice, mostly toasted malt with a light fruitiness, nice balance to the flavor over all. There’s a decent amount of hops in here, but the bitterness level is pretty low. Light to medium bodied with some light fizzy carbonation. The texture is watery, but it’s far from being thin. Pretty nice beer, sessionable indeed.
