COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This northern English-styled brown ale starts with an aroma of toasted and caramelized malts that carries all the way through the beers finish. On the palette hints of hazelnuts, freshly toasted bread and the wonderful flavor of cararmelized malt shine filling out the beers body.

On tap, at brewery. Pours a cloudy amber-brown body with a small fizzy off-white head that fell to a wispy film. Amazingly nutty and slightly chocolaty nose with some light graininess and minimal to no hops. The flavor is nutty and a bit husky with a dry grainy finish. A touch of a lingering slightly bitter and roasty coffee on the back end. Mouthfeel is dryish with a slight huskiness and moderate fizzy carbonation. Lingering husky notes. Overall, it’s not wonderful, but it’s pretty decent.

on draft at the brewpub. Pours an amber coppery color with a small off white head. Aroma of toasted malts, nuts and bread notes. Taste is much the same as the aroma.

Part of a sampler at brewpub. I found all the brews to be slightly better than average though I don’t remember specifics for most of them. This was a fairly typical brown ale if I recall correctly.
