Their Kent hop . Lacey with noticeable head, some hops in there. Malty. OK cask beer. Floral and herby hops, and some sticky candy there. kmweaver (3207) - Petaluma, California, USA - MAY 2, 2007
Growler, courtesy of LordMaynard. Thanks, Russ! Even after two+ weeks in the growler, this pours beautifully: a clear, golden-orange color; fluffy, off-white head with great retention and lacing that coats the inside of the glass. Plenty of citrusy bitterness in the aroma; English-style bittering with some candy sugar malt underneath. Medium mouthfeel: citrus and English-style hops upfront; lively carbonation; well-balanced with a candy sugar and maple syrup maltiness. Very drinkable and tasty, like a hopped-up ESB. Nice, dry dose of floral and citrus hops on the finish.
