Excellent wheat beer, cloudy light golden color, big fluffy white head, awesome lacing around the glass, nose full of banana & clove, medium-light body, very refreshing & crisp, flavor notes included original bubblegum, clove & banana, very true to the style, balanced well, spicy finish with more banana flavors Nate (4296) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 13, 2005
From growler. Really nice banana esters, like nutty warm banana bread. Light citrus rind, mild cloves and a nice floral hop aroma. Warm medium amber glow, cloudy with off-white lacing head. Medium to light watery body with medium carbonation. Starts with banana bread and mild lemon rind. Light carbonic acidity and mild bitter hops notes bring in a somewhat astringent chalky middle. Finish is wheaty and nutty, with lingering banana and carbonic tang. Light chalky banana after. Overall, very refreshing and a good Hefeweizen. egajdzis (6777) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 1, 2005
Poured a cloudy, orange-gold color with a small white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of banana, vanilla, clove and yeast. Taste of more bananas and cloves, wheat, and some tart citrus qualities as well. MilkmanDan (1942) - Eagan, Minnesota, USA - JUL 28, 2003
Light gold. Reminds me of 7-Up mixed with some banana, nothing deeply complex but some decent fruitiness. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUL 27, 2003
(SCBE2003): Cloudy apple cider body. Aroma is banana, clove, wheat. Taste is lemon, clove, wheat -- somehow it's a bit off. Light body, some tartness.
