Named in honor of Ed Kiessling, the worlds greatest contractor. This American pale ale is assertively hopped and dangerously drinkable. Hopheads rejoice!

On draft at the brewpub. Pours a coppery amber with a medium white head. Aroma of bitter hops, floral tones and light tangy citrus. Taste of light tangy citrus, light floral hops, and bitterness. Nice and crisp.

On draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear copper colour with a white head. Aroma of light floral hops, tangy citrus, carmelized sugar, and bitter hops (Thanks Adrian for helping me with the aroma). Taste is the same as the aroma with floral hops dominating the palate over the other flavours.

On tap, at brewery. Pours a nice clear copper body with a creamy beige head that left lots of heavy lacing. Nice leafy citric hops and slightly grainy maltiness on the nose. Really well balanced toasted and lightly caramel malts with the moderately bitter citrusy and piney hops. Nice clean hoppy finish. Medium bodied with nice soft carbonation, some lingering leafy hops. A solid APA for sure. Disappointing beers are getting very hard to come by at Bullfrog these days, keep up the great work!

Draft sample at brewpub. Red with rimming white head. Caramel nose with mild grassy hops. Taste is caramel with the same grassy hop flavor and mild bitter. Nice little Pale ale.

Sampled at the brewpub. Fresh grassy hop aroma. Very nice smell, with light sweet biscuit and a bit of turbinado sugar. Mainly a super hoppy aroma. Golden amber clear with thin off-white head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Starts with carbonic acidity and beany hops. Light malt sweetness. Bit hops profile, fresh, and tart, grainy, and puckering. Still subtle compared to Edgar but a very tasty ale.

Pours clear amber color with a small head. Aroma is grainy with some grapey fruit character. Flavor is slightly roasty and bitter, but not that complex or interesting. Medium bodied. The bitter doesn’t really hit at all until the finish. It is very drinkable, and a decent pale ale, but not one of Bullfrog’s better beers.
