FROTHINGSLOSH (8449) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 19, 2017
Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a bright fuchsia color with a small soapy pink head that faded and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was tart and sour cherry with a bit of funk. The flavor was tart, sour and astringent with a sour cherry note. Long finish. Medium body. Ok. beern (258) - Alabama, USA - JUN 3, 2017
Pours light red. It tastes of cider and is dry and tastes of moderately sour cherries. Pretty good. kramer (6989) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 11, 2016
Tap. Hazy straw yellow body with a minimal thin ring of who’s head. The nose is quite funky and tart, lots of apple skin, wood, light cherry notes. The flavor is pretty great, if starts of very funky and tart like any traditional cider, but the sour cherry emerges on the finish very beautifully. It’s actually quite unexpected since there’s no tint to the cider from the cherries at all. I thought it would be a bit pink hued. Light to medium bodied with fine fizzy carbonation. Really quite tasty. The cherry flavor worked out perfectly in this, so subtle and yet clearly there on the finish.
