Pours a slightly hazy, pale golden yellow color with a half finger white head that immediately settles. Not much in the way of lacing. Not bad looking but somewhat pedestrian.
Musty, funky aroma with pale malt, light fruit esters and a subtle barrel character. Nice toasted oak presence along with funky bugs, musty brett, biscuit malt, apple and pear. Funk/wild yeast is well integrated and doesn’t overpower the other notes.
Slightly tart and puckering with acetic sourness and citric acidity along wih subtle lactic cheesiness and musty funk. Decent Brett character with some tart sounressnes up front countered mid-palate by pale malt, biscuit and light fruit flavors. [5627-20130816] Tap. Fruity sourdough yeast aroma. Hazy, orange body with a quick foamy white head. Sour wild sourdough yeast flavour is on the mild side. Medium body is fairly sour. Quite tasty but leaves a burning sensation in my mouth. (8-/3/8/3/14) 3.6+

UPDATED: OCT 18, 2013 On tap at TJs. Pours cloudy copper with thin white head. Horseblanket, barnyard, lemon, tangerine, and as it warms up, light grapefruit. Moderate/high sour, moderately sweet, light bitterness. LIght, crisp body. A tad too syrupy.

Tap. Pours a slightly hazy gold body with a one finger foamy off-white head that faded to a wispy film. The nose is funky and tart with lots of brett, some lighter woody notes, pale malt. The flavor is pretty much all from the yeasts, lots of bretty funk and a nice bright tartness up front. Fades to a Cheerios like cereal grain like finish with some light vinegar. Light bodied, a touch clingy, lots of fizzy active carbonation. 2013-08-16. Bright pastel orange body with a small beige head. 3+ Aroma has unexpected tropical fruit character. Mild yeast character with funky undertones. 7++ Flavour is sour up front, lightly lactic quality to the moderate but growing sourness.
