On tap at Bullfrog last weekend. Reviewed from notes.
Pours golden with a white head and some spotty lacing. The nose is really, really fresh with plenty of green hops. Citrus and a resinous leafy character. Just lots of greenness going on. Taste is green hops and very bitter with citrus and floral elements...mostly just straight fresh hops. Medium body and bruisingly bitter. Very clean and drinks quite well.

Golden Orange pour with a thin offwhite head. Aroma is dank meaty hops, very pot like leafiness. Creamy mouthfeel, Intense bitter hopping in the mouth, with some deep resinous qualities. The epitome of a "dank" IPA. kbutler1 (1381) - North Carolina, USA - NOV 13, 2010
Growler. Poured into a tulip glass. Pours a clear dark golden color with a fluffy 1 finger white head. Super danky, citrus rind and some florals. The nose is crazy good! Medium mouthfeel. Well balanced DIPA between both being sweet and hop forward, the hops aren’t super overdone in a way that makes it too bitter. The alcohol warms from the inside and is evident but well incorporated. Nice lace. A very solid DIPA. Damico (3147) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 22, 2010
Swing top Growler from Bullfrog. Wow - easily the most marijuana smelling hoppy aroma of all time. It is an awesome potent aroma. The apperance is much clearer than expected with a light golden amber color and decent white head. GMCC2181 (1610) - Newark, Delaware, USA - OCT 11, 2010

On tap, at brewery. Pours a hazy orangish copper body with a minimal off-white head that faded quickly to a wispy partial covering. My god this thing smells crazy full of Citra! It smells so fresh leafy and green, it’s like when you pick a cone off the vine and grind it up in your hands kinda fresh. Smells more like a box of hops than beer. The flavor is just too over the top with the citra though. The low bitterness of them just can’t balance out all the huge leafy quality. I can’t tell if I’m drinking these hops or chewing on them. The malt, even though it’s big, at 9.2% can hardly make it past the leafy taste. Full bodied and heavy with moderate fizzy carbonation. Long lingering grassy and leafy hops. This one is a classic case of too much of a good thing. This doesn’t hold a candle to their Deuane Double IPA. I won’t be ordering a second one of these.
