Draft at brewpub. Pours golden with a white head. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Nice, fresh grapefruit notes on the nose and tongue. Packs a bit of a punch on the bitterness front. Refreshing.

On draft at Mindful. Poured hazy orange with thin white head. Crackery malt, grainy with pronounced grapefruit juice flavor. Enjoyed it.

Draft at the ’Shroom. Super light color and thinly bodied. Right from the get-go, something’s not right with this one. There’s no citrus whatsoever here. I get what I’d call "wet dish rag," my wife classified it as "bubblegum." Disappointing. (#6483, 12/30/2016)

DocLock (11301) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 14, 2016
Draft at Craft. Turbid golden pour with white head. Nose was pale malt, hops, grapefruit. Flavor was super smooth, with assertive grapefruit, ample and bittering hops, and a complex finish.

Sample at Bullfrog. So I sampled both this and the regular and went home with a growler of the regular... Full disclosure... Pours a light yellow/gold with a thin head. It’s a bit hazy but nothing too bad. Aromas are spiky grapefruit and flavor is more of the same. It’s very good stuff and if I hadn’t had the orange variety this would have more than done the trick. That said, it is a bit brusk and uncouth... Normally I like that, however.

Tap. Pours a cloudy yellow body with a small fizzy white head. The nose is heavy on the grapefruit and citrusy hops with a nice pale bready malt base. Super citrusy and hoppy up front with a hefty bitterness from both the hops and the grapefruit. Long lingering citrus and bitter finish. The grapefruit wirks amazingly well with this one. Light to medium bodied with fine pinpoint carbonation that enhanced the bitterness. Really nice thirst quenching beer.
