So this says with oranges and so does this: https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/bullfrog-hopsphyxcit so which is the right place who knows. Pale. First taste i green bitter grapefruti rinds, no lie. No way is this an APA, its an IPA pretending to be an APA, wtf. Up front we have lots of bitter citrus pulp taking over. Yes, each taste is a bitter blast. Nice lacing tho. Cant get over how much green grapefruit rind impressions we have here. Whew. Difficult IPA bitch slap. Yes, a terribly on style IPA fer sure.

Growler from Bullfrog. Hazy yellow pour with a thin head and aromas of lemons and oranges. Kind of a bitter orange presence.. almost like it isnt quite ripe yet. Its lovely. Flavor is clean and finishes with oranges and grapefruit. Very, very nice.

On tap at Brunzies. Luscious fruity hops, tropical fruit and pine needles, light sweet musky quality. Pale amber-golden hazy with thin white head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. Starts moderately sweet with tropical fruit, pineapple, apricot. Smooth sweet finish with carbonic bite. Smooth hoppy after but not biter.

Draft at Bru Craft. Cloudy dark yellow pour with just a small amount of fizzy foam and no lace. Very fruity, juicy hop brew. Grapefruit. Pineapple. Tangelo. Green banana. Somewhat grassy. A touch tart. Full-bodied. Tastes like very bitter orange juice.

Sampled on draft at Dennys Beer Barrel in Clearfield PA this beer poured a cloudy orange-apricot color with a medium sized foamy off-white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was tart and citric with notes of lemon, orange and grapefruit. The flavor was very bitter and fairly tart with orange, lemon, grapefruit, pepper and cracker notes. Very long finish. Medium body. Ok.

Pours a slightly cloudy, pale golden straw/banana yellow color with a one finger, frothy white head that slowly settles into a lasting ring. Spotty lacing left behind. Earthy floral hop aroma with dank, resinous pine character and sweet tropical/citrus fruit notes. Pale malt, biscuit, cracker, grass and pine needle along with prominent fruit sweetness. Strong hints of grapefruit, pineapple and orange peel in the nose. On the lighter end of medium body with a crisp hop bite that lingers over the sweet citrus and tropical fruit notes into a nice dry finish. Dry, bitter and earthy with pine needle and resinous grass countered by prominent pineapple and orange peel sweetness. Pale biscuit malt backbone with some bread, light fruit and cracker. Nice balance of dry bitterness, sweet citrus and pale malt. Lighter body than I expected/prefer but this beer is very easy to drink.
