Pours cloudy reddish brown with a one finger off white head with nice lacing. Aroma is of sour cherries, vinegar, cherry pie, light lacto, sweet malts, and some funky wet hay. Taste is similar to the aroma. Has a medium body with a creamy mouthfeel and a semi dry, pretty sour, long finish. Overall, a tasty, pretty complex sour.

Wow, very authentic stuff...not too much cherry or oak, and very enticing. Great flavor balance too. Probably the best thing I had at Tria on this visit. kassner (1669) - Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 22, 2016

Now this was really good, one of the better beers I’ve had in a while, it was so good from start to finish and I was pissed that it was finished. Quite a positive tart beer experience, nifty taste. Big and dark this was. Nice head to boot. Rather mild tart and first but then it gets a little more tart as the session continues. So nice, great taste. Fun, civilized tart beer experience. I really liked this. Would like to have a case of this in bottles. ganache (5960) - New Jersey, USA - SEP 14, 2015
UPDATED: JUL 30, 2016 Tap at the BH on Bainbridge. Dark brown with red highlights, foamy dense lightly pink white head. Nose sour cherries and dark malt, taste medium bitter with fleeting bitterness, strongly sour with a nice lactic and malt base, fades to a bready finish. Clean, full, crisp and refreshing body. Head laces, overall very dry and pleasantly high in degree of woodiness, a treat for the gums. Complexity wise, it’s a tad too straightforward for best in class, but it’s still up there with the Belgians. [2015.09.14: 3.8]
Tap at Bullfrog. Very dark brown with some ruby highlights, no head. Nose really woody-musty, funky and funky in the mouth, love the wood. Tart black cherry flavor but stripped of sweetness, crisp medium-full body quite refreshing, no alcohol and minimal acid burn. Still love it, love the scratch. [2016.07.22:3.9]
