Sigh. Lesson learned the hard way with these Grrz $40 bottles...another mediocre offering. Pours semi clear violet red with small head. Nose and taste have musty wet basement, subtle fruit, weird moldy dankess, mixed with acetic vinegar tartness and old stale berry. Low carb, flabby lifeless mouthfeel. For $15/750ml this would be pretty unimpressive, for $40 it’s a joke. Never buying Bullfrog again. j12601 (13099) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUL 22, 2017
RBSG16 Grand Tasting. Pours a mostly clear amber with a thin white head. Big acid and vinegar on the nose, blueberries over wood. Medium bodied, big acid, warm and toasty. Soft fruit, berries and tannins. Big and acidic, but a lot of flavor going on. Definitely a bottle meant to be shared though, this might be tough to solo.

750 ml bottle shared. Slightly hazy reddish orange with off-white head. Aromas of berries, stone fruit, funk, wine. Tastes of berries, funk, wine. Light body with a dry finish. jc1762 (1609) - Washington DC, USA - MAY 29, 2017
Thanks DCLawyer for sharing the bottle! Poured into a snifter showing hazy translucent rims of light purple and no head.
The nose shows tart notes of horse blanket with a light mint background.
The palate is light bodied and lightly carbonated. Subtle tartness with a light minty background. Not much else.

Refrigerated 75 cl green bottle March 24, 2016 poured into a tulip. Clear reddish with medium off-white head. Aroma is light berries, medium/light body, lower carbonation, and thick small-bubble lacing. Taste is berries, some tart, and chaulk. Not worth $40.

Pinkish head, stable, over amber-rosé beer with no visual carbonation. Benzene, cheesy, old fruit, old hops. Soapy, cheesy unnatural appearing flavours, even rubber, sulphur. Slick, feels well-carbonated; Not very special, tastes even artificial. JaBier (8253) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - FEB 26, 2017
Bottle shared by a friend. Pours purple with no head. Aroma of funk, berry, and malt. Malt and vinegar flavor with some metal and berry accents before a funky finish. sjogro (4734) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - FEB 1, 2017
Sampled from bottle at home, massive thanks to Maakun. Hazy red amber with white head. Sweet fruity smell. Sweet and tart red fruit. Berries, raspberries, blueberries, hay, barnyard, cherry stones. Very fruity. Light sweet and moderate sour. Medium body, minerallike texture. Soft carbonation and chalky feel. Very nice tart fruity finish. Lovely! Bottle shared. Slight hazy red/amber with good sized very light pink head. Lots of blueberries and red berries, funk, light grassy, some sweet malts and wheat, light mineral, soft sweet yoghurt, strawberry jam. Just medium sweet and sour with a light bitterness. Really nice balance of the sweet and sour on one side, and fruit and funk on the other. Very good. markextrae (4485) - Alingsås, SWEDEN, SWEDEN - DEC 30, 2016
Sample from bottle, poured a hazy deep red colour with a light white head. Nose of big blueberry skin, big berry notes, currant, soft crisp grain, vanilla, big tartness, and old cellar yeast notes. Big sweet bitter blueberry skin, vineous tartness, light citrus. Very good
