750 mL bottle. Bottle #162/353. Originally reviewed 7/22/2014. Pale reddish body. Very small white head. Settles to nothing. Quite a complex nose. I guess thats grape. Very fruity. Oaky. Lightly lemony. Yogurt. Flavor has lots of berry fruit. Sour. Yogurty lactic sour. A little lemony, but then it gets really overwhelmed by oak. Well carbonated. Moderate sourness. Remarkably complex flavor profile from an American sour. Just a little too oaky for me.

Pours hazy caramel with a nice buff head. Aroma features sour apple and pear with a woody hint. Tart flavor offers pomme, grape and malty notes. Body is typical, but fizz is lively. Roaring and hopping!

Bottle @ Mikes. Thanks, dude! Sort of an orange color with a touch of pink and a tall white head. This is super funky. Just a ton of straw, grape skins, oak, mushroom, and earth. Maybe some cork? The grape is more of a tannic and drying sort of quality than anything. Pretty decent acidity here, but its not overly sour. Definitely pretty musty, too. High carbonation as well. Not too shabby.
