Bottle @ Mike’s House. Red beer with a pink head. Has a pretty decent raspberry character. A lot of straw, grass, oak, and musty funk. Maybe some mushroom, too. Really a leathery finish. Lemon zest, seedy fruit, and maybe a touch of cherry in there. Not bad. jc1762 (1471) - Washington DC, USA - MAY 29, 2017
Thanks DCLawyer for sharing the bottle! Poured into a snifter showing moderately filtered copper rust red with quickly dissipating clean white foam.
The nose shows light raspberry, slightly red wine-like.
The palate is light bodied and moderately carbonated. Lightly tart with light raspberry throughout. ctipping (2107) - Florida, USA - MAR 29, 2017
On tap at Hunahpu Day. Bright red. Smells of raspberry and a little bit of fresh green grass. Tastes of raspberry. Lemon sourness and tart raspberry. Oak. Medium body with medium carbonation. Dominated by raspberry and I maintain that these later batches don’t hold a candle to the older versions, but this one is still nice. koleminer20 (3704) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - MAR 16, 2017
From notes. Enjoyed on draft at Hunahpu’s Day 2017 on March 11. The pour is a brighter ruby-red pour with a thin ring of light pink head that falls off pretty quickly. The aroma is pretty good. There is a lovely raspberry going on that I like. It’s tart and crisp with a great sourness. There is a hint of lactic to it, but it’s really good. The flavor is much of the same. There is a little more barrel to it, but I like the balance. The tart fruitiness just works so well. The mouth feel is light and crisp with a brighter carbonation and a lingering lactic sour fruitiness about it. It’s not overly complex, but it definitely does what’s needed. I like the simplicity to it. djd07 (15067) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAR 5, 2017
Bottle thanks to Daniel. Pours a dark ruby with off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong oak, raspberry, cherry, funk. Thin body, acidic, funky, oak, berry, very sour, very good.

Sample courtesy of Jacob. Hazy red pour with a small pinkish white head. Sourdough crackers, cassis, blueberry, yoghurt & light Brett nose. Slightly sour, fruity & buttery taste. Dry, tart & astringent mouth. Fairly nice fruit character ruined by wheat dough & butter. A dud compared to other Bullfrogs I’ve tried. Thought I was drinking blueberry which is interesting. While the berry presence was nice it was a bit weird for blueberries. I guess it being raspberries explains that issue :). Korcz (3389) - Warsaw, POLAND - FEB 24, 2017
Potężna, malinowa słodycz w aromacie. W smaku zaskakująco wytrawne, dużo skóry, Brettôw, cierpki finisz, mocno pestkowe, owocowe. hackobock (4045) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 19, 2017

Light hazy red with a small frothy pinkish head. Aroma is fresh and vibrant raspberries. hints of lemon, light funky barnyard and hints of oak. Taste is tart, fruity and funky. Medium bodied, slightly dry, average carbonation. Finish is sour fruity with raspberries, lemon, soft funk, slight bitterness.
Very nice raspberry character but a bit simple, lacks funk but still very good.
Sampel na panelu w Chmielarni na Marszałkowskiej. Aromat bardzo malinowy o słodki. W smaku lekko kwaśne, wytrawne i trochę słodyczy. Maliny przykryły trochę za mocno lambikowy charakter. Ogólnie smaczne ale do klasyki z Belgii trochę brakuje. AdmiralVernon (1196) - SWEDEN - FEB 19, 2017
Nice colour! Flavours of raspberry seeds and lemon zest. A bit to bitter for my taste, but pretty nice anyway.
