Bottle - 750mL corked and caged. From MAR 30 2016. Rusted amber pour with a tall fizzy tan head. Aroma is tart berries, berry jam, funky yeast and soft oak. Hints of cedar and tobacco as well. I smell what could be misconstrued as a humidor at times. Taste is tart berries, unripe raspberries, funky yeast, spicy notes and wet wood. Body is medium with a strong, prickly carbonation. Light acidity and mild dryness during the finish. Ends with more tart berries, raspberry jam, funky yeast, yogurt, light oak and unripe berries. RobertDale (6847) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - OCT 7, 2017

4 oz. draft at Copenhagen Beer Celebration, Boston, 23 September, 17. Dirty color, aroma is funky yeast, moldy basement, decent amount of fruit. Flavor is somewhat balanced between fruit and funk. Mouth feel and carbonation are fine. Must be a new vintage. drfabulous (8563) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - SEP 27, 2017

Bottle @ Mike’s House. Red beer with a pink head. Has a pretty decent raspberry character. A lot of straw, grass, oak, and musty funk. Maybe some mushroom, too. Really a leathery finish. Lemon zest, seedy fruit, and maybe a touch of cherry in there. Not bad. jc1762 (1608) - Washington DC, USA - MAY 29, 2017
Thanks DCLawyer for sharing the bottle! Poured into a snifter showing moderately filtered copper rust red with quickly dissipating clean white foam.
The nose shows light raspberry, slightly red wine-like.
The palate is light bodied and moderately carbonated. Lightly tart with light raspberry throughout. ctipping (2233) - Florida, USA - MAR 29, 2017
On tap at Hunahpu Day. Bright red. Smells of raspberry and a little bit of fresh green grass. Tastes of raspberry. Lemon sourness and tart raspberry. Oak. Medium body with medium carbonation. Dominated by raspberry and I maintain that these later batches don’t hold a candle to the older versions, but this one is still nice. koleminer20 (3956) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - MAR 16, 2017
From notes. Enjoyed on draft at Hunahpu’s Day 2017 on March 11. The pour is a brighter ruby-red pour with a thin ring of light pink head that falls off pretty quickly. The aroma is pretty good. There is a lovely raspberry going on that I like. It’s tart and crisp with a great sourness. There is a hint of lactic to it, but it’s really good. The flavor is much of the same. There is a little more barrel to it, but I like the balance. The tart fruitiness just works so well. The mouth feel is light and crisp with a brighter carbonation and a lingering lactic sour fruitiness about it. It’s not overly complex, but it definitely does what’s needed. I like the simplicity to it. djd07 (15543) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAR 5, 2017
Bottle thanks to Daniel. Pours a dark ruby with off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong oak, raspberry, cherry, funk. Thin body, acidic, funky, oak, berry, very sour, very good.
