750 ml bottle, bottled 24.03.2016, at Sander's place shared by Saeglopur, many thanks! Pours a hazy, dark orange with a quickly disappearing white head. The aroma is fruity with sour berries, raspberry, blackberry, mild funk and some vinegar. The cherries are well hidden in the back but overall the smell is really pleasant. Medium body with a soft carbonation, a medium sourness, a light residual sweetness and a very light tartness. The flavor starts with sour berries and citric acidity, red currant, black currant, quiet some mild but lightly burning balsamic vinegar, hardly any cherries followed by some wood and a woody, dry and tart finish. Really nice with quiet some vinegar but overall still in balance although the cherries are very subdued.

750 ml bottle from Mikkeller Webshop, bottled Mar 24 2016.
Dark amber, hazy body, with a small, yellowish head.
Aroma of vinegar, more sour than sweet cherries, sour citrus, apples, some pears.
Tastes quite similar, with a bit less vinegar and the cherries more prominent.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes medium acidic, medium dry, a bit wooden, with green apples, cherries, pears, some citrus.
very nice. The nose is a bit too acidic, but the taste is very nice, with the cherries beautifully showcased. Not outstanding maybe, but still a lovely Kriek.
