Listed as Rye Not but it seems like the same beer as this. Pours slighty muddy with some lacing from its thin white head. I’m not getting much aroma from this one. Taste has some bitterness to it which continues through the finish. Meh! kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 5, 2010
On tap, at brewery. Pours a clear amber body with a small wispy beige head that left lots of lacing. Really nice earthy, husky, rye nose with some light caramel and fairly aggressive hopping. The flavor is very hoppy, and it really melds well with the earthy rye. Finishes with a sweetness below the hops that gives it a little depth. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, a little clingy and sticky yet rough and grainy. I really like this, packed with flavor for a relatively sessionable 5% ABV beer. Sampled at Pints for Pets. Mild nose with some neutral fruity notes, light grain, and a bit of floral hops. Dark amber clear with a thin lacing head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. Starts dry with light malt, some rye flavor, and good bitter hop finish and bitter after. Not very astringent, but grainy.
