tap at Bullfrog - Minty rye bread and sweet. Plenty of pine and a touch of nuts. Some toasted nuts. Finish is nice, dry and piney and bitter.

Good rye, has the heavy chewy gummy syrupy flavors that are commo with rye beers that are counter balanced with dry hopping.

Tap. Pours a clear reddish amber body with a small fleeting off-white head that left some sparse lacing. The nose is very rye centered, but thereís a good bit of piney dry hopping going on as well. Some dry toasted and lightly caramel maltiness below. The flavor is a lite more subtle on the rye than the nose, but itís a really nice tweak to balance out the malt sweetness and the bright hops. Light to medium bodied with fizzy soft carbonation. Not a stunner, but a really solid beer. Very much reminds me of Founders Redís Rye, but with better and fresher hopping than Iím used to with that one.
