Pours a very hazy dark golden straw color with a one finger white foam head that quickly settles into a thin, lasting ring. Sporadic spotty lacing left behind.
Intense agave and tequila barrel aroma with subtle buttery diacetyl but it’s not harsh and doesn’t overpower the other notes. Agave nectar sweetness with dry oak and a very prominent tequila presence. Doesn’t smell boozy however with lots of citrus sweetness. Subtle peppery spice and farmhouse funk but these elements are overpowered by the tequila, oak, agave and citrus.
On the fuller end of medium body with very strong agave, sweet honey and tequila flavor. Saison character is stronger than in the aroma with peppery spice, ester-y light fruit and funky farmhouse yeast. The barrel character is nice but the oak is subtle. Tons of tequila flavor without being boozy or too hot. There is seriously no heat at all making his complex beer surprisingly drinkable. Strong citrus sweetness and agave flavor with a touch of grassy hop, peppery spice and earthy saison yeast. I haven’t had too many tequila aged beers but this one is really good. cpetrone84 (1810) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 17, 2014
Pour is hazed dark amber with a tight white head. Nose is lemon and cream, faint yeast notes with a light tequila in back. Taste is sweet and creamy, thick body with gentle carb. More tequila through the finish with a moderate alcohol burn. A hint big with very light Saison notes drowned out by sweet malt and tequila. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - JAN 25, 2014

Draft at Craft. Pours cleargold with no head. The aroma has oaky pale malt,, and tequila and hops. Tastes of pale malt, mild hops, and scotchy tequila. boxofrane (2553) - Spring City, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 16, 2013
Draft at craft ale house. Pours clear yellow with no head. The aroma has vanilla, oak, and clear agave . The taste is sweet, vanilla, and way too much tequila for me.

pours a hazy golden orange with a thin white head. aroma has mildly funky fruitiness and notes of leather and candi sugar. flavor follows suit...all over the board here with sweet and tart fruit, funk, leather, candi sugar-like sweetness, and mild oak tequila and vanilla. mouthfeel is medium and the finish is tart/leathery and dries to earthy. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 14, 2013
Tap. Pours a mostly clear copper body with a small fizzy off-white head. The nose is really sweet with the agave nectar, a little hint of the tequila barrel, caramel malt. The flavor is just as sweet as expected, a mix of agave nectar and caramel, finishes with a little tequila flavor. Lingering sweetness with a little alcohol heat. Medium bodied, a little clingy, with soft carbonation. Not sure I dig this one too much. Overly sweet and not sure I can get into the tequila flavor either. hopdog (12673) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 23, 2013
On tap at the Blue Dog, Lansdale. Poured a cloudy golden / amber color with a very small sized off white head. Fruity and sweet. Not sour or tart - more sweet. PhillyCraft (7364) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 18, 2013
Sample from James at bainbridge. Straight up bannana cream pie with vanilla. Not much tequila or agave in this one as far as I can tell. Wasn’t my favorite of the night. jredmond (8333) - New York, New York, USA - JUN 10, 2013
Draft at Bainbridge with Vinny and Sean. Pours a golden amber body with no head. Aroma is light tequila and a very faint sour character - pretty tame overall. Mouthfeel is medium to thin with notes of smooth booze - definitely tequila, light oak, faint vanilla, banana and a muted malt flavor.
