On draft at the brewpub. Looks like Guinness. Pours a black colour with creamy beige head. Head coats the glass and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma of lightly roasted malts with a hint of chocolate. Flavour is light like the aroma with a bit of coffee like flavoring thrown in. Watery. yobdoog (1888) - Kingston, New York, USA - APR 10, 2009
Dark and thin body. Aroma is a bit weak also with some heavy bitter roast. Taste is dark cocoa and bitter coffee and still thin. I expected more from BF.

Draft at BF Brewpub. Pours a dark dark brown, practically black body. Small brown head. The aroma is very light - slight roastiness. Good lacing noticeable on the side of the glass. The palate is a bit watery, not as much flavor as I would’ve preferred. jredmond (8445) - New York, New York, USA - MAR 31, 2009
