UPDATED: JUL 9, 2012 Thank you Tom L. The aroma of a sweet Flemish sour ale. The color is bright brown amber with a creamy head. The flavors of a wild Flemish sour settles with light berry notes. SourNotes (104) - Bloomington, Minnesota, USA - OCT 5, 2010
brown/red/mohogany colored. slightly hazy. I can see the Funk havin a party in here, i just know its in there.
smells of delciously sour cherry slightly funky lemon tart bretty land in here. oakiness about. lactic acid and acedic acid swirling in here like a tiger waiting to pounce. I’m gonna drink me some of this
oaky sour cherry, acetic acid/vinegar of a more red wine style. slight funk notes, a great punch of sourness almost to the lemon side but more cherry sour kind. deep deep inside lies a touch of medicinal brett, but not enough to fight off the sour tiger that mauled my face when i drank this.
I got a severe case of the Jaspers after drinking this. I think its contageous. light carbonation, some pucker, but refreshing.
yup, i could drink a lot of this especially now that i have a case of the jaspers. the only cure is to drink more of it.

Bottle. Very, very excited to try this one. A rust copper mahogany color with not a whole lot if head. Strong sour cherry notes with some slight acetone notes. Some funk as well. Malty, sour and tart with some fruit type taste. No medicinal flavors at all. Subtle Brett flavors as well. Pretty well balanced. Some oak notes. More tart fruit and sour than anything else and in that sense it is really good. Light mouthfeel. nickd717 (4648) - San Francisco, California, USA - SEP 1, 2010
750ml bottle thanks to soulforpeanuts. Pours a dark hazy reddish color with a small off-white head leaving nice foam. The aroma has lots of good cherry aspects, maybe some other red berries. Pretty good flavor. Starts with big sour cherry and raspberry, but ends with a slight dirty note and little bleu cheese, which is rather. Still pretty tasty but not great. Medium-bodied with average carbonation. Fairly refreshing for the style actually. A good but not outstanding wild ale.

Murky Rust pour with a slight offwhite head. Aroma is sour cherry, acetic acid, some funky leather and a bit of light light horsiness. Mouthfeel is medium and a bit prickly from carbonation. Flavor is nicely soured, acetic, a bti funky, mostly cherry fruit and skins. A really nice flemish red. Leighton (21091) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 17, 2010
Bottle at Beerwarming Party. Pours a cloudy, dark maroon with a light, filmy head. Lots of funk and leather in the aroma with some tart strawberry. Flavor is sweet, tart, fruity, lightly acidic with some dirt. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. Finishes sour, light, dry and clean. Interesting and pretty good. puzzl (3258) - New York, New York, USA - AUG 15, 2010
Bottle from Jay. Acetic acid, cheesy aluminum, mud
Slightly harsh vodka, mud components to the flavor, peach, plum, old socks, oud bruin like with a bit more acidity, less complexity. brokensail (16440) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 15, 2010
A: The pour is a dark amber color with a somewhat minimal off-white/khaki head.
S: The nose is sour cherries, vinegar, and a bit of oak. The lactic acidity is there but not the primary aroma and only a bit of funk.
T: Quite a bit of cherries to the flavor, which is nice. A fair amount of acetic and lactic acids, and a light funk that is somewhat wet oak/hay in nature.
M: The body is medium with a decent level of carbonation and a dry, slightly tart, finish.
D: A good barrel aged beer from Bullfrog. Not quite as good as Black Cherry Bomb, for example, but still a pretty good beer. thirdeye11 (6160) - Dallas, Texas, USA - AUG 13, 2010
(750ml bottle #370/378 thanks to ericandersnavy) rich deep red/brown pour with light white bubbles. Nose of sweet cherries, pipe tobacco, lightly tart, fruity, wet wood, and raspberry puree. Taste of sweet raspberry and other stone fruit pits, cherry, pipe tobacco, a little too sweet, wet barrel. Not lactic, but wish it was. Linger is sweet and reminiscent of the pipe tobacco throughout.
