Tap, brewery. Pours a slightly hazy gold body with a one finger frothy white head that faded to a thin ring. The nose is quite fruity with a nice yeastiness and a noticeable candi sugar sweetness. Smell s bit more alcoholic than six percent. The flavor is a bit on the sweet side for me, but there are some nice fruity notes from the yeast. It tastes a bit more alcoholic than indicated as well. Medium bodied with a nice soft creamy texture and moderate soft carbonation. An OK beer, but not one I’d grab a second round of. lithy (2996) - Capital of Appalachia, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 13, 2011
Muddle yellow with a white cover. Light spicy aroma, herbal hops, hay, light malt sweetness, some fruity esters. Taste is much the same, a solid beer. zdk (1917) - New York, New York, USA - SEP 6, 2011
Tap at the brewpub - sharp carbonation. Phenollic yeast. Some clove and vegetal notes. Caramel sweet peas, dry and spice at finish. Damico (3147) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 3, 2011
It pours clear golden in color with a small white head, very small. The aroma is zesty, light sweet notes, and yeasty notes. The flavor is light golden and sweet malts on a less bubbly body with light wheat flavors overall.
