A: Hazy pale-straw yellow.. Looked milk-ish in complexion. Smallish white head which slowly receded but left little lacing.
S: Soft fruit character, orange, peach, banana. Lightly spiced. Subtle yeast.
T: Much like the nose with a bit more of the malt coming through. Again light yeast highlights a soft fruit palate. No real funk or farmhouse flavors.
M: Oddly refreshing. Perhaps its the low alcohol content combined with the soft fruits. Light, almost juicy weight. Clean finish.
O: An interesting saison-grisette... worth a try for sure. Glouglouburp (6103) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 26, 2010
In short: A yeasty fruity beer with a farmhouse character. Good Saison-ish beer.reggiedunlop (3725) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 18, 2009
How: Handbottle from my buddy dickinsonbeer. Thanks a lot Paul.
The look: Cloudy dark blonde body topped by a very small head with low retention
In long: Nose is moderately yeasty with notes of freshly baked bread and tropical fruits. Taste is bready, uncooked fruity dessert dough, oranges, phenols notes, pineapples, doughy yeast. Medium carbonation with a nice doughy body. Not super wild but there’s something very “farmhouse” about the whole thing. This beer could pass as a Saison. I really Bullfrog, they make original beer off the beaten path. Very inspired. Being inspired can be dangerous. Once inspiration stoke me. From behind. It left me for dead and the police did nothing.
pours a hazy golden color with minimal head and poor retention though the beer actually looks a bit lively. aroma has light wheatiness with a hint of leather, clove or some other spice...very mild. flavor is also very mild but does have a touch of funk and leather...also reminiscent of a mild wheat beer. mouthfeel is slightly watery and not as dry as i prefer a saison to be. overall its not horrible but i prefer a bolder saison. On tap at Capones, Philly PA- Poured a hazy orange tinge with light head and some lacing. Yeast and wheat on the palate, earthy bread and light grains. michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 10, 2009
Draught at Capone’s: Aroma of yeast, spices, slight pepper, pale malts, and cloves. Poured orange in color with a small, creamy, off-white head that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is light to medium sweet. Tastes of spices, yeast, cloves, slight fruit, and slight pale malts. Light body. Thin, dry texture. Soft carbonation. Lightly sweet, spice and yeast finish. A nice session beer. Lots of flavor for 3.8%ABV.

Poured a hazy golden color with a small, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, coriander, banana, vanilla, toasted malts, honey, and spices. Taste of vanilla, citrus, earthy yeast, spices, grass, honey, and a dry finish. afireinside96 (923) - Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 2, 2009
On tap at Capones, served in a shaker glass. Hazy gold with no head. The smell was tart and peppery with some wheat and citrus characteristics. The flavor was wheat, banana, dough, earth, and a slightly phenolic. Was pretty good though it feels like a little bottle conditioning would make it even better. On tap at Capones. Cloudy orange with some white froth. Nose is wheat, lemon and vanilla custard. Tart, kind of creamy, with lively carb. Taste is lemon, lime, pith and peel, with hints of dried apricot and honey. Crisp and refreshing. Perfect for a summer day. boamr (310) - Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 1, 2009
