Cask (gravity dispense) at GBBF, day 4 on 4 August 2006. A reddish brown mild. Quite grainy malt aroma. Just a subtle roasty edge. Slightly sharp on the palate with a light, toasty malt presence. Smooth mouthfeel.

Cask at Luton BF ’09. Very dark red brown, near black. Faint roast malt aroma, a hint of chocolate developing. Bitter coffee taste with some sourness. Tasty mild. Ethereal (2471) - Los Angeles, California, USA - FEB 17, 2009
Cask at Battersea Beer Festival, 11th Feb 2009. Dark, reddish brown, still. Good flavour - lots of dry hops, fruitiness. Nose is all brown sugar notes. Decent weight. MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 7, 2007
A Sim rate (cask at Reading BF): Rancid, rancid, rancid. Tastes like biting into a lemon though bizarrely ruby / black in colour. Aroma is not quite so offensive but reminiscent of lemon cleaner used to clean bathrooms. Ungstrup (38958) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAR 12, 2007
Cask at GBBF 2006. A very dark brown beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel, but also light roasted notes. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and malt, leading to an end with light notes of grapefruit.

(Cask at Wenlock Arms, London, 25 Nov) Black colour with pale brown head. Roasted nose with notes of coffee and tobacco. Roasted taste with coffe, chocolate and som citrussy hops in the bitterness. Surprisingly tasty and nice. One of the better milds I’ve tried. omhper (25955) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 8, 2006
[Cask at GBBF] Dark brown. Aroma of coffee and raisin. Sweetish and evidently roasty with notes of grass. Salty finish. Feels bigger than it’s size. Mungo (2470) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2006
UPDATED: MAY 9, 2007 Gravity Cask @ Reading Beer Fesitval 07. Tried again Crap acidic and mouldy nose, obviously out of sorts. 2.0

Gravity cask @ Reading Beer Festival 2006. Blackberry fruit. Earthy body - not quite smoky. Dry and light. 3.4
Gravity at Reading beer festival 2006. Dark brown, froth atop. Nice hoppy Mild, with a slack malt finish. A game of two halves! Unusual for a Mild, in both halves, but the beginning is OK. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - MAY 1, 2006
Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Reading BF. A dark brown coloured mild with a reddish hue. The aroma is fruity but slightly eggy. The taste has berry fruits and some smoky roasted malt. Very mild and accceptable.
