I am not a light beer drinker, and this stuff is a little low on the 'buzz factor' (only 3.6% alcohol), but I have to say, this has a lot of flavor for a light beer. And only $6.49 for a case of 24?

UPDATED: AUG 18, 2003 Okay, this is nowhere near as good as Burger Classic, but it really isn't an unpleasant beer. However, since it is American Light style, I'd more aptly term it "beer flavored soda water". punklawyer (100) - USA - FEB 15, 2004
I havent seen this one around in a while. It was decent when I did see it. Again, not for the faint of heart, if you are looking for weak watery lights, stay off of this one. bipolar1 (268) - Hancock, Michigan, USA - MAR 25, 2005
UPDATED: MAR 31, 2005 The name has got to go. If you get these ice cold, they’re actually pretty good. I like Hamm’s special light a lot more. ELDERPURPLE (11) - USA - NOV 20, 2006
This beer is more classical than it is good. Very cheap on the counter. We used it to batter chicken at a restaurant I used to work at.

6/28/2009: Bürger Light is lighter, softer, smoother, and slightly sweeter than the regular Bürger Classic. I actually like it better too.
12 fl. oz. can from 12-pack purchased at Jungle Jim’s International Market in Fairfield, Ohio. Rating #21 for this beer.
UPDATED: APR 6, 2012 Poured a yellow-gold with an intially nice frothy head that faded quickly to minimal lacing that eventually went away entirely. Aroma was sweet - mainly of malt mixed with corn. Taste was of sweet malt which moved into a slight corn favoring and finishing off with a very light hop bitterness. Palate was fairly decent for light beer. Overall, I thought this was fairly decent for a cheap ($5.99/ 12 pk) light brew. I did note that it seemed to taste similar to LaCrosse City Lager which is also brewed at the City Brewery. Perhaps a slight difference in its formulation. Patrickctenchi (6692) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - DEC 30, 2012
Can: courtesy Shrubber.
Pours clear, medium gold, with a tall white head.
Scent is grain malt.
Taste is slightly tangy grain, water.
Extremely light, yet a decent strength in flavour.
Truly, not that bad. rangerred (989) - Johnson City, Tennessee, USA - JAN 28, 2014
12oz can into a pint glass.
Pours a clear straw yellow with a one finger white head. Surprisingly good head retention for this style of beer but the lacing is a bit lacking.
Aroma is very metallic with notes of corn and cooked vegetables. A tiny bit of spicy hops is detectable in the background.
Creamed corn flavor with more vegetable. A touch of bread and hay along with a brief whiff of wet grass. Light bitterness with a slightly sweet finish. Mouthfeel is a bit chalky.
Overall, this is a budget beer and it shows but in saying that, it is not bad for what it is. I would take this over the big 3 any day. Tmoney99 (14863) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 1, 2009
Can from shigadeyo.
Poured clear pale color with a minimal frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate sweet grainy aroma. Light to medium body with a thin texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.
My expectations where met.
