Gushing bottle, yeasty pour of what’s left, murky orange, huge off-white head. Aroma is yeasty, with some floral and fruity notes behind. Taste is a bit oxidized, but nice funky saison notes and tropical fruit behind. Should have been drank earlier, but solid.

Bottle from my last trip to NC. Oops, probably held onto this one for too long. Medicinal yeast on the finish> Still a bit of tropical hops on the nose. Lots of white head. Medium bodied.

Bottle thanks to Chris. Pours out a hazy gold topped with a small head. Nose is alfalfa grassy hops and plenty saison. Taste is more of the grassy hop some caramel rich notes.

Pours orangy-gold with a decent buff head. Fresh orange is the main player in the aroma, with malt in a supporting role. Where are the hops? Ah, there they are, in the fruity flavor, sour and bitter but a little sweet, almost more fresh-squeezed orange juice (can’t beat that with a baseball bat!) than beer. Mouthfeel features average body but plenty of fizz. Come through the cemetery gates, we have beer!

22 ounce bottle. Orange hazy color in pour. Nice nose. Citrus. Sweetness. Some yeasty notes. Wish I had opened when I bought it (didn’t realize itw as an IPA), but this is tasty still.

Bottle. Poured hazy copper color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy complex citrus and herbal aroma. Medium to abundant body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy citrus bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of medium to long duration. Very good complex brew

22 oz. bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a hazy orange golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have a burst of orange citrus up front, becomes very herbal, evergreen character midway, toasted malts, mild sweetness, mild plus to moderate bitterness, solid beer; I have enjoyed the beers I’ve been able to try from Burial.

Big bottle, shared by tmoney99. Hazy amber color. Minimal off-white kind of bubbly head. Awesome big fruity hop up front, very herbal in the flavor though, some ginger, pine? Rosemary? Really interesting spicy herbal estery flavor. Medium-plus body. Lightly slick. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Great texture. Moderate sweet taste, light to moderate bitter. Pretty nice belgian IPA. Love the herbal character.

Brewvival 2015 Trip Beer #1. Keg at Pisgah. Pours a hazy orange with a medium sized creamy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of dry citrus, tropical, herbal hops, pale malts, hints of pine and scuppernong. The taste is herbal notes, herbal, citrus and tropical hops, bubblegum. Medium bodied, very well balanced, dry. Amazing.

2015 Winter release. 7.2% ABV on this release, a collaboration of my 2 favorite local brewers. Belgian IPA pours hazy copper into the glass with a wispy head that reduces to trace lacing. The nose is of interesting yeasty esters with a wet fresh hop... nice. Flavors are dry, apricots, esters, citrus zest and peel, some cracker, finishing with a nice dry spices and a bitter back that lingers appropriately. Complex and substantive, active on the palate and a full body that brings forth the best in fresh hops and Belgian yeast strains. Nice!
