COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with a copious amount of roasted and aromatic black barley varietals and some European brown malt to add a coffee aroma, this beer picks up a noticeable cherry flavor from our house Belgian strain of yeast.

Pours dark midnight brown with a thin film of tan head. Aroma is burnt oak with a very subtle hint of vanilla and smoked chocolate cherries. Smooth drinking with smoked mocha and dark fruits with a powdery texture. Alcohol bite on the back end. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampled at EatBar DC pours a muddy black with some rocky tan head. Nose has what you expect, some burnt toast notes, dark chocolate, black pepper, some very very dried fruit (fig and raisin). Flavor has more of the same with an emphasis on the fruit, dark cherries here now, raisins and figs still, less chocolate/cocoa than the nose has, still burnt toast and malt. Finishes full bodied, a little oily.

Fits right in with the beer i was drinking in the Bahamas like blue waters and white sands. Black pour with good head. Roast and some coffee. Very dry. A touch of booze. Creamy consistency. Pretty good. Tap at Churchkey.

Dark black brown in color with a small head. Slight coffee notes in the aroma. Bit of Belgian yeast.

Not impressed with this one. Aroma of unsweetened cocoa. Black with a tiny foam head. Bittersweet with cocoa and coffee. Dry and uninviting as far as uniqueness is concerned.

Very nice Belgian stout - robust malt profile with coffee, dark chocolate and cherry and plum, with a rather intense finish.

b3shine (9197) - Indiana, USA - MAR 17, 2016
Draft to taster at Burial. Looks good; a very slightly translucent very dark (almost dull black) cola with beige head. Smells of dark malt, cherry coffee, and mild hops. Tastes like it smells, but better balanced, with a medium-bodied mouthfeel. Solid, and tastes better than it smells.

On tap at Burial. Coffee, leather, and smoke in the nose. Super smoky taste with lots of leather. For people who like those tastes, try this beer. Otherwise probably stay away.
