2.3 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours clear golden yellow with somewhat resilient white head and a little lace. Aromas of grain, bread, crackers, some light herbs and a hint of malt sweetness. Light body, medium carbonation. Herbal hop character, light corn vegetable. Finishes lightly sweet, refreshing, dry with a hint of corn.
Bottle at M’s. Fairly flat with just a rim of head. Not much to it but some faint citrus. Refreshing after a long surf and apparently no carbs. But if I cared about that I wouldn’t be drinking beer. CurlyJoe (241) - AUSTRALIA - DEC 12, 2016
No carb beer from the Gold Coast. Not much to smell or look at, but clean lager taste. A little bit of malty sweetness too. Not too bad. danjs5 (241) - AUSTRALIA - OCT 28, 2016
UPDATED: OCT 29, 2016 Zero carbs and 88 calories, so this could be the dieticians beer. Tastes a bit like beer and has some flavours if you think hard about drinking it. Better than many other lagers. Has more depth than your average XXXX. It is refreshing cold. With some real persistence it could work. It could be a genuine weight loss beer! A scientific phenomenon? beer-yum (1706) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - JUN 14, 2016
Crisp lemon aroma in a yellow pour. Similarly crisp lager like body with a surprisingly tart finish. An acquired taste (I guess). mcberko (17809) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 12, 2016
On tap at Burleigh Brewing, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out biscuity malt and light herbal notes. Flavour is along the same lines, but is very stripped down. Biscuity malt and a touch of a herbal quality. Weak and uninspired.

Poured a clear golden colour with 5mm of white foamy head that retained OK but laced poorly. Carbonation moderate to high with coarse bubbles. Aroma of grainy malt and no obvious hops. Taste sour and tart then grainy; no hops bitterness. Light body, bordering on watery.
Crisp and smooth if drunk cold with a bland finish. StevieT (2011) - AUSTRALIA - MAY 15, 2015
From a bottle. Pours clear with minimal head, not too bad, pretty smooth, I’d drink it again. TedE (1326) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - FEB 10, 2015
330ml bottle into glass. Bought some of these to give to a mechanic who helped me out (he’s on some low carb kick). God, I hate the label. Aroma is a bit metallic then nothing. Amber beer with white film, tiny carbonation. Thin mineral water mouthfeel. Slight (and I mean SLIGHT) bitter finish. Wow, this beer is ephemeral. Gives a new meaning to ’full-flavoured’. Poured a clear piss-yellow with almost no head. Aroma just grain and very faint. Taste dryer than a nun’s c**t, and turned mouth to dust. Palate lively carbonated, thin, watery, moderate dry hops finish. Overhall, bleh! Give me carbs, just even a little more so that I have some flavour. Pyobon (1398) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - SEP 15, 2013
(Bottle) Clear pale gold, no head (ironic for a beer called Bighead) and flat looking. Aroma mixes wet cardboard with grainy malt. Light body and lightly fizzy. Taste is rather sour with some slight metallic bitterness. Not good.
