3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Case 7/20 from the Brewery with a 7/20 bottle signed by BF and a jar of sensational fig jam........... the bottle and case of beer were cold, bonus:) Clear amber in colour with some light carbonation, the open white head soon fades to a tight cover. Sweet fruit and floral aromas, citrus and breakfast muesli. Quite a decent bitter hop kick. This beer needs food accompaniment and what better than the fig jam, some cheeses and bickies........stay off the skateboard after one of these:))
From bottle in shaker at Paradise Resort. Amber with wispy off-white head. Fruitiness from both hops and yeast translates through the aroma to the tastebuds. I sense fig notes but may be biased by the acronym. I've had this several times and it can be a bit boozy in spots, especially when long in the tooth, but when fresh it's one of the better QLD IPA's. fonefan (50669) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JUL 12, 2017

Quite sweet but rich. Malty with a fruity dried fruit and fig backbone. An interesting take on the IPA with the hops quite restrained LesArgen (369) - AUSTRALIA - APR 28, 2017
This one’s almost as thick as fig jam - you could spread it on your toast. The malts are quite full on, producing a sweet honey, raisin, peach and mandarin cocktail, plus a modest hop aftertaste. I love my big IPAs but I’m finding this one a little too much.
