3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Initial aroma is quite fresh and young with hay, grass and citrus all clouding through. The clolouring is gold much to my surprise I really expected a deeper brown than golden yellow. The head frothy, white foam nothing special but my glass not the best.medium bitterness, very bitter initially but soothes after a few mouthfuls with medium sourness tasting more like a sauv blanc at times, light body, slick feel, wanted more but no. I guess a more modern take on the Australian Ipa compared to the north American ipa. Still quite sessionable enjoyable.

Quite sweet but rich. Malty with a fruity dried fruit and fig backbone. An interesting take on the IPA with the hops quite restrained LesArgen (360) - AUSTRALIA - APR 28, 2017
This one’s almost as thick as fig jam - you could spread it on your toast. The malts are quite full on, producing a sweet honey, raisin, peach and mandarin cocktail, plus a modest hop aftertaste. I love my big IPAs but I’m finding this one a little too much. sm89walt (2065) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAR 5, 2017
