UPDATED: JAN 21, 2017 Pours light amber. Flat with very thin head. Sweet stone fruit and hops aroma. Firm hoppy taste and great mix between sweet and light hoppy bitterness. Medium body. Lasting caramel, biscuity, earthy malt back palate too. Nice and clean. theswiftsa (109) - AUSTRALIA - NOV 11, 2016
Pours a cloudy Amber with a funny white head with coarse bubbles almost like a dextrose carbonated home brew. Nose is apricot plum and marmalade. Taste is upfront stone fruit hops, moderate bitterness and minimal carbonation. High residual sweetness with biscuity marmalade malt finish. High on sweetness but the hop mix is spot on. Loved this. mcberko (18434) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 12, 2016
On tap at Burleigh Brewing, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out some strange hoppy notes and dry biscuity notes. Flavour is fruity and hoppy, with stone fruits and light biscuity malt. Not hugely pleasant but it’s reasonably clean. Okay. Theodopilos (68) - - JAN 16, 2016
Bottle from dan murphys holland park, into pint glass, passion fruit, pine and citrus aromas, good lacing, with a creamy texture, very nice Muggus69 (2601) - Yarram, Vic, AUSTRALIA - NOV 25, 2015
650mL bottle from Dan Murphys
Deep golden body, holds a creamy white head.
Good nose to it - cooked citrus, dried leaves, pine, passionfruity hops, with a good measure of dark toffee, biscuity, slightly nutty malt.
Full bodied, nice bit of chewy malt texture, moderate creamy carbonation.
Lots the love here - plenty of hop; pine, marmalade, leaves, passionfruit and tropical notes, bolstered by a generous body of almost British-like malty goodness; nuts, toast, biscuit, dark toffee. Firm bitterness fits the bill well, moreish finish.
This is damn nice - almost a mix of an APA & ESB, very enjoyable!

Bottle - pours dark orange with a short lived head. Aroma is citrus, pine, some malt. Taste is nicely balance was expecting a bitter hop taste but is not OTT nice marmalade middle and finish. Palate is medium with moderate carbonation. ANZUShophunter (495) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - NOV 13, 2015
From bottle in tulip glass. Pours burnt orange with pillowy head and lively CO2 that dissipates quickly. As expected, a nice hoppy nose of tropical fruits that leads to a bit of sweetness then mildly lingering bitterness on the palate. I sampled last year’s version as well; glad to see it out again! A solid APA. DavidAust (275) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - OCT 1, 2015
Citrus and mango aroma and plenty of it. Darkish amber (for a pale ale) with a very complex taste. Quite a lively froth and great lacing. Too many flavours to describe that are mostly associated with the flowery hops, but a hint of malt in there somewhere towards the middle. Lingering finish. Really worth experiencing due to the intensity of the flavour, solid mouthfeel and complexity. Maybe a bit too much going on to make this a regular staple in my beer diet, but then this is part of their "bit on the side" range and that is what it is - a great experiment that works; mostly. Not sure if you could balance the five hops any more than they do - they have given it a great shot, but it just may be impossible. Still an excellent drop and highly recommend you give it a go - almost a must have if you were to showcase a complex pale ale to jaded drinkers. stoutnick (842) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - AUG 29, 2015
Golden crisp pour. Tropical fruit aromas popping out - mango, pineapple. Taste is nice sweetness, tropical fruits, solid pale. I dig it a lot! Very good pale here. Definitely deserves more solid reputation - underrated. Yorksh1reman (2) - AUSTRALIA - MAY 8, 2015 does not count
650ml, 5.5%, a great well balanced hoppy beer. This shouldn't just be a 'bit on the side' beer. In my opinion, it's the best beer Burleigh Brewing Company have released and should be up there as one of their flag ship ales.
Great taste, dangerously easy to drink, moderate alcohol content, lots of flavour.
