On the thinner side for a milk stout, but drinking it on nitro was fantasitc and I liked that it was lower in alcohol, so many could be enjoyed. Greated roasty malty taste that poured black with that thick creamy khaki head. I want more! Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 20, 2012
This poured a medium brown color with a lighter tan head. Aroma was light roast, some light choclate, and not much else, Flavor was very well balance, swetter chocolate and light roast, light herbal hops too. Very well balanced and refreshing. Elwood (3336) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - JUN 19, 2012
Serving: Draft at the brewery. It pours black with a creamy head thanks to the nitro. The nose is a little muted (again thanks to the nitro) but there are some light roasted and coffee notes. The flavor mirrored the nose, only a little stronger. Good coffee and roast balance with a medium body. I thought this was a pretty good rendition.
