September 19, 2015 - at The Kernel with a whole bunch of RateBeer lunatics for Zwanze Day. Bottle share? Minimal notes here - but here we go - cloudy, not a lot of head; This is pretty much all about white wine must, light oak and some floral character - it’s complex on the tongue and I’m not sure I would have it again - lot’s of grape and grape derivatives. Glad to have tried it.

Lightly opaque. Bright gold. Thin, sporadic head. Aroma is Sauvignon Blanc. Taste starts super tart with a lot of grapes, white wine, and a lightly vegetal finish.

(Draught at Bottle Shop Druid St, Bermondsey, London 28 Nov 2015) Hazy golden yellow colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, yeasty nose with brett, hay, apricots and gooseberries. Malty, fruity taste with notes of spicy yeast, apricots, gooseberries and a balanced earthy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Really tasty and well made saison, with a balanced gooseberry character. Very nice.

Light to medium sweet flavour with pleasant citrusy tartness, a little musty hay, pale bread. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Pretty clean on the finish, some further lightly tart citrus fruits. Nice beer overall.
