Bottle from Middle Farm. Effervescent and bready, like all of the best saisons, but it has some additional complexity from the herbal additions that give it some floral notes. Noticeable tartness, but it’s quite restrained and it adds to the other tastes rather than overwhelms them. Vighals (4460) - Sørumsand, NORWAY - APR 21, 2017
Lys gulbrun med høyt hvitt skum. Lukter halm, blomster, noe grapefrukt og urter. Lett. Sitrusbitter, korn og noe gjær. Kort. tfredvik (2032) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 18, 2017
Pours a cloudy, medium yellow body with an average-sized, white, long-lived head that laces the glass well. Strong aroma of sweet fruits, apples, spices and some butterscotch in the back. Strong flavour of citrus, apples, black pepper and a touch of butterscotch. Light sweet taste with a light to moderate bitter long-lasting finish. Light and dry on the palate. Close to decent, but doesn’t strike me as a typical saison, and the butterscotch is a bit disturbing. tmrmwel (2275) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAR 11, 2017

Aroma is wooden yeast and tart fruit peel, as well as floral bretty notes and berries. Medium body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is tart fruity notes, fruit peel and berries, as well as hay, wooden bretty notes and dry yeast. Garrold (5606) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 19, 2017
Bottle. Little Leeds Beer House. Hazy, straw colour. Thick, sudsy, lasting, white head. Nose is grassy and herbal. Notes of privet leaf and lemongrass. White pepper. Sweet, pale bread yeastiness. Taste has bready sweetness. Thin, watery mouthfeel. Foamy carbonation. Finishes soapy and thin. Not for me.

Tap @ Wildeman. Blonde. Hints of brett and citrus in the aroma and flavor. Totally dry. Characterful.
