Spiced fruit beer from this Portland brewery, from a 65 cl bomber. Irregularly shaped, snow white, lightly lacing, slowly breaking head over a misty yellow blonde beer with warm peachy hue. Aroma of indeed mashed apricots, sweet chili peppers, moldy lemon, soggy white bread, soap, ginger, cider, grape peel. Vividly fruity onset with actual fruit tartness but more in a green plum- or berry-like way than apricots - at least at first, because in the middle a certain apricot sweetness does show up, over a soft soapy wheat and bready backbone; the fruity sourness continues over this and then is met by a strong chili heat which lasts quite long but actually fits in surprisingly well; soapy wheat and sourish fruit flavors linger after swallowing. A daring combination of flavors and you’ll have to like ’piquanterie’ in your beer in order to appreciate this, but I certainly do and for me this combination works fine. bulldogops (2907) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 7, 2016
Rating #1686 - 29.05.2015 - On tap at Burnside with CBI crew. Pours a golden straw colour with a white foam that bubbles away quickly. Aroma is thai chili sauce, peppers, lime. Taste is quite smooth, light witbier qualities, mild sweetness, and its as though you dredged a Belgian wit through that inevitable sauce pool at the bottom of your basket of Thai chili wings. Predictably spicy and delicious. SudsMcDuff (8492) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - JUN 25, 2016
on draft, interested to try this, heard this won a medal a couple years back .. . heat is apparent, light spice, apricot, apricot pit, grain .. . mouth is a bit prickly, throat has a slight warmth .. good beer, food would be plus. but food is pretty good and required for life.. radagast83 (8452) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JUN 5, 2016
At SAVOR 2016. Poured a very slightly hazy clear yellow color with a white head. Aroma was light herbal notes, light spice, some floral character, very mild fruity notes. Flavor had some very subtle heat on the finish, some spice on the finish. Hungover (109) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 30, 2016
Pretty hot! Apricot is there at first, sweet, but then gets utterly blasted by the heat. Sort of unbalanced. Would be nice to pair with food, otherwise, a bit difficult to finish a whole pint. The back of the throat is rocked by heat. An experience non the less...

Medium, snowwhite head over very finely carbonated yellow beer. Sourish nose, citrus or other sour fruit, blossoms, spices. Fresh-smelling. Again fresh, sourish-fruity (maybe peach or apricot), but overpowered by the chili. Chili is really all-imposing. Feels very carbonated. Blast of heat immediately backthroat. Light body. Not very drinkable, this way. Sorry, chili makes it utterly unbalanced. seehaferb23 (284) - - MAR 8, 2016
Tasted by Cannery Row Beer Club. It tasted a lot like they say it will. The first thing you taste is the apricot and then the peppers hit your mouth.

Tap at brewery. Pint. Hazy golden orange with medium white head. A bit of citrus nose. The name says it all. Sweet, and then the spicy hits you at the end. Long lasting spicy tingle but not overpowering, which is where most of these go wrong. Super unique. wekker84 (2390) - etten-leur, NETHERLANDS - DEC 19, 2015
