COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Burnside Sweet Heat is a wheat ale with an addition of 200 pounds of Apricot puree, then dry hopped with imported Jamaican Scotch Bonnet peppers. Reminiscent of a Caribbean chutney, Sweet Heat has a subtle tartness from the fruit with a slight spiciness from the peppers which also adds a fruitiness to the aroma.

Medium, snowwhite head over very finely carbonated yellow beer. Sourish nose, citrus or other sour fruit, blossoms, spices. Fresh-smelling. Again fresh, sourish-fruity (maybe peach or apricot), but overpowered by the chili. Chili is really all-imposing. Feels very carbonated. Blast of heat immediately backthroat. Light body. Not very drinkable, this way. Sorry, chili makes it utterly unbalanced.

Tasted by Cannery Row Beer Club. It tasted a lot like they say it will. The first thing you taste is the apricot and then the peppers hit your mouth. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at brewery. Pint. Hazy golden orange with medium white head. A bit of citrus nose. The name says it all. Sweet, and then the spicy hits you at the end. Long lasting spicy tingle but not overpowering, which is where most of these go wrong. Super unique.

Bomber. Pours a cloudy gold with a decent off-white head. Aroma of fruit, grain, and spice. Taste is apricot, grain, malt, and peppers. Think you will love it or drain pour it. Obvious what I did.

Hazy light yellow with a firm head. Aroma is peppers all the way, some slight fruity notes. Palate is all heat, some apricot hints. Too heavy on the spices, interesting though.
