COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The soldiers that dragged the 100 cannons up the side of Little Kennessaw Mountain knew something about fortitude. This ale would not let them down. A piney/citrusy/danky IPA, Cannon Dragger is aggressively dosed with C hops all through its journey from the grain to the glass. It pays off, its a feat of amazing beer strength!

16oz growler, served at around 45F. Kegged in November 2012 if memory serves.

Pours cloudy amber with a two finger off-white head that leaves nice rings of lacing and recedes to a light cap.

Aroma is oranges, orange marmalade, citrusy hops, melon, caramel malt, a hint belgian-y. Good strength.

Flavor is orange marmalade, melon, fruity hops, decent bit of caramel malt with some sweetness, average bitterness, light alcohol.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied, creamy, oily, good carbonation.

Strikingly similar to the Ezekiels Wheel...almost makes me wonder if it is Ezekiels, but the keg is marked as Cannon Dragger. Lots of fruity hops and almost a Belgian character. Pretty good, but awfully expensive for what it is. I know theyre an upstart, but their pricing is pretty extreme.

Bottle at RBWG Grand Tasting. Pours a clear amber with small white head that lasts. The aroma is dank and citrus. Medium body, juicy hop, grapefruit pith, pine, light bitterness, very good.

The reddish amber color was much darker than a typical IPA. The body was hazy, and the head was one finger thick. The aroma much milder than most IPAs (or DIPAs, which this beer was approaching in ABV). The smell was woody, earthy, and spicy, with some malt coming through as well. The taste was even milder than the aroma, as there was very little bitterness. There was a lot of earthy, chalky hop flavors, that reminded me a lot of English old ales. There was some hints of spice in the dry aftertaste. The body of the beer was its best quality, as it was soft, smooth, and soothing. The beer was had place to show a bottled on date, but the date had not been printed, but I do believe I had a fresh sample.

Bottle shared during the RBWG 2015 Grand Tasting. Pours clear, rich gold with a fluffy, white head. Pretty nice citrusy hops in the nose, some accents of grapefruit, a bit of papaya. Medium sweet flavor with light pine, pithy citrus, some pale grains. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly resinous on the finish with more pith, dry pale bread, pine. Not bad.

Bomber bottled on 3/13. (hand numbered) Slightly hazy orange under a tall, creamy, off-white head. Citrus and pine hop aroma. Well balanced flavor between the malt and the hops but this could pass as an APA. Decent beer with no flaws, just lacks adventure. This came off the store shelf about 10 days ago, might be tired.

Bottle share at Evernote. Big malts on the nose that turn to thick hops on the palate. Heavy stuff.
