Bottle, shared at RBAG by Ferris. Orange brown, very hazy, with a receding light gold head. Sweet bourbon brown sugar toffee wood with spicy undertones. Beautifully balanced. Probably the best BBA quad I’ve had. dfearnley (2071) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 13, 2016

Bottle - Vintage 2015 - Big Woody whisky notes and dark fruit. Deep brown and a decent beige head. Nice dark sweet barrel notes, raisin and a long sweetness. Nicely done. jcwattsrugger (12418) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - MAY 4, 2016

Pours a slightly cloudy Amber color. No head at all. Aromas of big barrel, vanilla, light coconut, slight dark fruits. Taste is booze and dark fruits. Almost like candied dates soaked in booze. Surprisingly it all works well though. Definitely a sipping and sharing beer. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 9, 2016
Poured a darker red with a beige head. Aroma was of big barrel and dark fruit. Flavor similar. A good bar wuad. mcrowther (50) - ATLANTA, Georgia, USA - JAN 16, 2016
Figs and plums on the nose. Malty goodness, brown sugar sweetness, more a solid quad than a barleywine- alcohol is present but still very quaffable. This brewery is killer and it is one of their better offerings. jbruner (4697) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - DEC 18, 2015
Pours a clear copper brown from the bomber with thin ring of bubbly tan head. Aroma of bourbon barrel and dark fruity notes. Taste is even bigger, more balanced, less fruit more vanilla. Very nice, light carbonation, solid beer, but not as awesome as everyone told me. jrob21 (3663) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - DEC 18, 2015
Sample at strong beer fest. Checking this one off the list finally. A big rich sweet toffee and caramel barley wine. A little fruity on the aroma. Purple fruit, plum, raisin.
