Nice easy drinking pale ale. Would have more if I could find it. Burnt Hickory is a small up and coming Georgia brewery. If you can find their beer, give it a taste.

A dark orange to almost brown color with a white head. Aroma contains some citrus, caramel, and oats. The flavor is slightly bitter with a nice malt backbone. Im getting some lemons, caramel, and biscuit. The aftertaste is more malty than bitter. Overall I’d pin this as more of an EPA than APA but either way its a good session ale. oobawa (1737) - Tennessee, USA - OCT 31, 2016
Almost an IPA, but brilliant nonetheless. Citric and herbal bitterness with a pot-n-marmalade nose. Bready, slightly sweet malts and a mean, lingering hop bite. Nice. Breezy4life (73) - - AUG 2, 2016
Color is golden amber. Aroma is caramel and floral hops. Balanced pale ale. Smooth hops with strong caramel malt backbone. Finish is nice. Mouthfeel is soft. Very sessionable.

Clear copper, huge but delicate white head. Aroma is a big burst of caramel up front, then a note of citrusy hops. Taste is crisp and hoppy with a nice toffee background. Seems less than 6.5%, actually. Pretty typical, actually, but well made and tasty. ordybill (1815) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - APR 9, 2016
Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a cloudy amber brown with a large white head. The aroma is full of hops and malt. The taste is hoppy and is well balanced. A real good beer. AUdacious1 (7) - Smyrna, Georgia, USA - JAN 23, 2016 does not count
This beer is passable, and is one of the only Burnt Hickory beers that is drinkable by anyone who doesn't like sours.
