Sun Inn Kelvedon, Autumn Beer Fest, Cask. Clear amber beer, bubbly cream colour head. Palate is light, smooth and has low carbonation. Smooth malts, mild tangy caramel, vague brackish water. Mild spice and dry pithy bitterness. Little orange peel before a light semi dry finish. A bit too many things irritate with this one.
Cask. Aroma muted hops. Pours amber with lasting white top. Taste is diplomatically described as balanced which in this case spells ’dull’. There is some bitterness in the finish but otherwise neutrality is all. harrisoni (19006) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JUN 18, 2016

UPDATED: NOV 9, 2015 At the Burton Bridge Inn. Mid amber with a creamy head. Malty aroma leads you into this excellent subtle beer. Taste is very well balanced but malt just has the edge. Smooth and refreshing with a long but not astringent aftertaste. A classic session bitter. SarkyNorthener (4709) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUN 10, 2013
