Cask, Derby Winter Fest 08. Clear amber with a cream head. Aromas are weetabix malts with some chocolate. Spicy hops with hints of citrus. Flavours are malty with fresh hops. Some citrus and soft spices. Bitter and hoppy on the finish.

Fin (10970) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 22, 2007
Cask at the JDW, Shrewsbury, Salop, 19-10-07 Poured dark golden with white head. Some malts and soft lemon notes in the aroma. Tasted very well balanced good bitterness and honey sweetness and quite bitter and dry but very tasty.

Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 21, 2007
Cask. Fine white 2cm cover tops the clearish amber body. A straightforward, very very mineral bitter which imparts a certain salty bitterness to balance the caramelly, yet dry soft malts. Dry all throughout, tasty and tartish bitter. Fresh tasting and pleasant, but the saltiness was too much in nose.

TheGrandMaster (2335) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 10, 2006
Pint pulled at The Market Porter at London Bridge (London), amber with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is juicy malt at first quickly followed by fruity hops. light bitterness on the palate that strengthens through the mouth. Flowery hops dominate the flavour, more dry and fruity in the finish.

haddonsman (1234) - Derby, Derbyshire, ENGLAND - AUG 23, 2005
Handpulled at the Burton Bridge Inn, Burton, Staffordshire. Clear brown with scant white head, good crunchy bitterness, wonderful balance, a pleasure to try at the brewery tap.

Hbie (133) - Essex, ENGLAND - AUG 22, 2005
Cask at Queens Head Chelmsford. Light brown white head. A good solid bitter with some bitterness. I suspect this was getting towards the end of the barrell. The bitterness was lacking in this example, will try again.

Ungstrup (38578) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - APR 27, 2005
[Cask at GBBF 2004] A brown beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, while the flavor contains notes of caramel, diacethyl, aroma hops, and flowers.
