Sun Inn Kelvedon, Autumn Beer Fest, Cask. Clear amber beer, bubbly cream colour head. Palate is light, smooth and has low carbonation. Smooth malts, mild tangy caramel, vague brackish water. Mild spice and dry pithy bitterness. Little orange peel before a light semi dry finish. A bit too many things irritate with this one.
Gravity dispense at the Happy Man, Englefield Green, Midlands BF, 15/03/13. harrisoni (19403) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JUN 18, 2016
Lightly hazed dark golden amber with no head - not pretty on the eye!
Nose is malts, hops, touch of TCP, caramel.
Taste comprises malt, berry fruits, pretty basic on the flavour front.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation - a touch on the flat side, some light bitter notes in the finish.
A very bog standard twiggy bitter - not one to bother with again, red wine plaease if that’s all on offer!

Deep orange, almost no head. Sweet fruity aroma, estery. Quite full body, but a bit watery and flat. Reasonable back-of-the-mouth bitterness. Hint of mushroom. OK bitterness, but a tad dull.
Cask, 4.2%. OK fruity aroma. Hazy copper colour. No head. Moldy flavour, some fruit. Quite boring. imdownthepub (15379) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 22, 2004
Cask Conditioned at Charters Bar, Peterborough. Light amber beer, red hue, with everlasting head. A truly well balanced , refreshing bitter, with a smooth malty base, lightly caramalised then a peppery dry hop that lasts forever. Top notch beer. gunnfryd (15330) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 6, 2006

Half pint, cask at Wm Hawkes. A covering white head with good lacing. Slightly hazy golden body, Smell of leafy hops and caramel malts. Malt-fruity taste of caramel and citrus leading to a restrained bitter end. Easy going bitter (shared with Finn, Hull 26.11.2015).
